How we work

WITSB is a contract engineering company. Pick the engagement that matches the work, and change it as your needs change. Pricing is quoted per engagement.

Engagement options

Remote hourly

For troubleshooting, upgrades, reviews and short tasks. Billed for time worked, with notes on what was done.

Monthly retainer

A reserved block of hours each month for ongoing administration, DevOps work and improvements.

On-call coverage

After-hours and weekend coverage for agreed systems, with response targets and escalation agreed in writing.

Emergency incident response

Help with an outage or urgent vulnerability, starting once access and scope are confirmed.

Fixed-scope projects

Builds, migrations and upgrades with a defined scope, deliverables and timeline.

On-site in Denver

Hands-on work for Denver-area businesses. See Denver IT services.

What working together looks like

  1. Intro. You describe the systems, the problem and the timeline. We ask questions.
  2. Proposal. We send the approach, assumptions, the engagement type and a quote.
  3. Access. You provide least-privilege access through your VPN, bastion, SSO or ticketing process.
  4. Work. Changes follow your change process, with backups and a rollback plan for risky steps.
  5. Handover. You get documentation, runbooks and a summary of what changed and what to watch.

Ground rules we follow

  • Your data and credentials stay in your systems and are never reused.
  • No production change without agreement on what, when and how to roll back.
  • Clear written updates rather than surprises.
  • NDAs and your security requirements are fine.
